What we do?

Nutri-Link imports and distributes a comprehensive range of the highest quality nutritional supplements directly to healthcare professionals and their patients/clients. These supplements are specifically designed for nutritional medicine related problems and are based on many decades of combined formulation experience by the manufacturers and in excess of 55 years clinical experience from the founders.

The companies Nutri-Link represent have consistently demonstrated their commitment to the manufacture of highest quality supplements over many decades. They have been chosen by Nutri-Link because they source the highest quality raw materials, avoid using low allergen risk components and employ scientists, researchers, medical and non-medical clinicians to provide continued input to product development and efficacy.

Nutri-Link is committed to providing the best service to our valued customers by offering personalised attention to the individual needs of healthcare professionals, technical support, rapid-response times and a professionally accredited educational programme.

We believe that when provided with the correct nutrition our bodies have a remarkable capacity to self heal. We also believe that nutrition should be personalised to meet the unique biochemical needs of each individual. It is for these reasons and many more that we set up Nutri-Link.

Manufacturing

Nutri-Link nutritional supplements are produced in licensed manufacturing facilities that strictly adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). They are compliant with and in many cases exceed the requirements for cGMP, with two of our suppliers also holding full pharmacological manufacturing licences.

Raw Material Specifications

The nutritional supplements distributed by Nutri-Link are assessed by the manufacturer’s on-site laboratory personnel whose job it is to evaluate the physical characteristics of each finished product including hardness, disintegration, moisture balance, friability, and pH. The purity and potency of finished product is independently verified through outside commercial laboratories using a randomised ingredient and batch testing programme as well as ‘in house’ testing. Biotics Research Corporation also provides a National Drug Code (NDC) number on all of their products ensuring 100% traceability right through to the site of growth or collection of plant materials.

Excipients

The products distributed by Nutri-Link were chosen by their founders and by the manufacturers to be free of artificial flavours, preservatives, and colourings. Naturally-derived, inert excipient materials, including cellulose-based excipients, vegetable-derived magnesium stearate, L-leucine, and silicon dioxide are used in very small amounts as tableting and encapsulation aids. Biotics Research tablets are manufactured exclusively using a patented formula that ensures that product remains biologically active throughout its transit.

All the tableted products are protected with an inert, water-soluble cellulose coating that dissolves readily upon ingestion, facilitating tablet disintegration time. Where possible vegetarian capsules are used and are made from plant cellulose. Most importantly all common allergens such as wheat, corn, soy, yeast, and dairy are avoided except where specifically chosen for the needs of a particular nutritional supplement.

Who we are

Nutri-Link was created in 1998 and evolved from a partnership between its two founders Michael Ash and Antony Haynes, for the unique requirements of their own patients and clients. In 2012 an equity buy out by Kikkoman Group brought the company into the Allergy Research Groups arms. Whilst our shareholders are now a global food company, we remain independent in terms of product selection, education and development of clinical strategies. The founders remain in charge of the company and continue to direct the business with the primary aim of meeting the needs of busy practitioners and their clients and patients.

Now in its 24th anniversary year, Nutri-Link remains true to its founders’ aims of:

  • Applying a scientific approach to its choice of nutritional supplements
  • Maintaining a healthcare practitioner dedicated company and
  • Selling exclusively to registered practitioners and their patients/clients
  • Providing excellent technical support and customer care
  • Tirelessly promoting the health benefits achievable from lifestyle changes with a focus on nutritional therapy

Technical Support

Our technical support team; Antony, Leonie, Karen, Christine, and Elisabeth have a combined 70+ years of clinical experience. Their aim is to provide technical and clinically relevant information about nutritional products and their uses to practitioners in a friendly and efficient manner.

Location

Nutri-Link is based in the beautiful county of Devon, England, where it employs local people and services dedicated to making your experience with the company as effortless and pleasant as possible.
