Optimox

Established in 1978, Optimox® originated from the nutritional research and clinical studies performed by Guy Abraham, MD. Dr. Abraham developed the preeminent high potency iodine/potassium iodide supplement, Iodoral®, as a preferred tableted form of Lugol solution. To prevent gastric irritation and facilitate proper absorption, Dr. Abraham invented a colloidal silica excipient, patented as Micosolle®, which is used in each of his formulas.

Optimox® is now part of the Allergy Research Group® family, a company closely aligned with Dr. Abraham’s values and goals of hypoallergenic, research-based nutritional supplements. Dr. Abraham’s formulas have been successfully used for over forty years, and the products remain true to the original formulas, carrying his legacy.
